Animal Artistry Measurements

Performance is fun! But in order to show one needs the measurements of the horse. We're trying to get measurements for the AA-horses, to make this easier. Want to help? Write me, at anne-li.mell@swipnet.se with the models you can measure (or simply the measurements) and the information will be added to the gallery, with credits to you for your help. If you tell me you will measure a model, please do so within a reasonable time. We are interested in measuring all of Donna's horses, china, resin and plastic.

The measurements needed are:

Bridles
1. Headpiece - edge of mouth over head to other edge of mouth
2. Noseband - round the nose all the way
3. Browband - back edge of one ear over forehead to back edge of other ear
4. Rein length - edge of mouth down then up round the shoulders, over the withers and back down other shoulder and up to other edge of mouth

Saddles
5. Tree length - high point of wither to point of hip
6. Girth - round belly all the way just behind elbows
7. Panels - about 2/3 of distance down from withers

Give the measurements in millimeter preferably (if you give them in inches I will transform them into millimeters with 25.4 millimeters to an inch).

I know nothing about making tack - thank you Marion Keefe for the list! Anything that should be added/changed? Write me to the address above.
